Garry has long experience in general commercial law transactions and also in insolvency. For many years, Garry has been involved in extractive industry transactions and associated issues. His experience gives his clients the benefit of his industry knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting extractive operators.

Experience

Garry has recently acted for:

• a Friendly Society in the sale of its health insurance business, which required regulatory and Federal Court approval
• an international company in the sale of part of its Australian operations
• companies involved in extractive industry, relative to general issues concerning work authorities, planning permits and the like
• the trustees of a charitable trust in a Supreme Court application to amend the terms of the trust

• a trustee in bankruptcy in the administration of two significant bankruptcy matters.
