Ian has over 20 years' experience in corporate and commercial
law, including acting as in-house counsel with a private investment
bank.
Ian advises publicly listed and private companies in general
corporate law, including corporate governance, business
acquisitions, takeovers, capital raisings and private equity across
a diverse range of industries, from energy and resources to media,
financial services, biotechnology and transport. He has a strong
commercial focus and works closely with his clients in the pursuit
of their business strategies and objectives.

Ian is honorary solicitor for the Professional Golfers
Association of Australia (Victorian Division) (1991 - 2006; 2009 -
present). He has also acted as honorary solicitor for several other
sporting and charitable bodies in providing general commercial
advice.
In 2000 Ian was awarded the Australian Sports Medal in
recognition of his service to the Australian Golf Union Inc.
