Peter's diverse and high profile career includes 25 years'
experience in running a legal practice.
He has also been engaged in various prominent community and
organisational leadership roles, has high level expertise in
commercial and financial management, and is an experienced
consultant and mediator across the public and private sectors.
Peter brings to our firm - and our clients - his expertise in
strategy, planning and business development, his networks in
political, business and community circles, and his commitment to
connecting our clients with the right people.
In 2010 Peter was elected as
the President of the Victorian Employers' Chamber of Commerce and
Industry (VECCI), having been Deputy
President of VECCI since 2003. Also in 2003, Peter was awarded the
Centenary Medal.
Experience
As well as his legal experience as Principal of PG McMullin
& Company Solicitors (1978 - 2002), Peter has undertaken the
following roles:
Pro bono and Community Work
Peter has been involved in various community organisations
throughout his career, including through his position as Secretary
for the Victorian Council of Social Services, and as a Board Member
for the Action and Resource Centre for Low Income Families and for
Philanthropy Australia. He is also a former Chair of the Melbourne
International Comedy Festival and former Deputy President of the
Museum Board of Victoria.
