Expertise
Virginia's clients value her straightforward approach and
understanding of their industries. She is familiar with the
sporting, retail, horseracing, health, professional, extractive,
transport and hospitality sectors.
She has experience representing both
employers and employees in various employment and industrial
relations law matters, including discrimination, restraint of
trade, occupational health and safety, work cover, agreement
making, unlawful dismissal and superannuation entitlements. She
also prepares employment-related documentation such as workplace
policies and procedures.
Virginia previously held the position of Workplace Relations
Advisor with the Australian Building and Construction Commission.
Among other things, in this role she advised the ABC Commissioner
on potential breaches of industrial instruments in the building and
construction industry.
