2010 Annual Cornwall Stodart Carnival
Our fourth annual Carnival Day was held at Moonee Valley Racecourse. Once again, Cornwall Stodart staff, clients and their families celebrated another fantastic year and enjoyed entertainment for both children and adults, including live music, a children’s stage show, roving entertainers, activities, exhibitions and much more.
This year we hosted over 200 clients and their families,
confirming the event continues to be a success - despite the threat
of inclement Melbourne weather!
Our Carnival Day acknowledges clients' support of the firm and
provides a further opportunity for clients, staff and their
families to meet in a relaxed and fun environment.
This year, Camp Australia provided activities including face
painting, crazy hair, badge making and easel art. Rides included
the giant side, dodgem cars and the cha cha. As always the animal
farm was popular with children and adults alike, as was the photo
booth, which gave our guests the opportunity to take home a
souvenir from the day.
We were also fortunate enough to have Pierrick Boyer of Le Petit
Gateau perform an expert Master Chef cooking show for us. Another
highlight was a visit from three AFL footballers, Eddie Betts and
Brock McLean from the Carlton Football Club and Colin Sylvia from
Melbourne. The boys were very generous with their time, signing
autographs, posing for photographs, conducting a handball
competition and playing kick to kick (with Cornwall Stodart
footballs of course!).
Feedback from clients and staff confirms the Carnival Day was
again a huge success. Thanks to all those who attended and thanks
especially to those staff who worked hard to ensure the day ran
smoothly and gave generously of their time.
