Cornwall Stodart Annual Dinner Raises $40,000 for Mercy Health Foundation
Each year Cornwall Stodart holds an Annual Dinner to bring
together our clients and staff to support a worthy cause and share
an evening of good food and entertainment. This year was no
different. Last night, more than 200 key clients and stakeholders
joined Cornwall Stodart partners and staff for our 2011 Annual
Dinner. The night was a great success and we raised more than
$40,000 on behalf of the Mercy Health Foundation.
Now in its sixth year, our Annual Dinner (previously known as
our Key Client Dinner) aims to recognise and thank clients and
stakeholders for their ongoing support, as well as providing
networking opportunities for attendees.
This year's event was held at the Great Hall, NGV International.
Guests enjoyed a three course meal and drinks, as well as
entertainment, a charity auction and special fundraising events.
Well known Australian media icon John Mangos was Master of
Ceremonies, and our special guest speakers were Dr Gillian Opie of
Mercy Health and Oscar winning animator and director Adam Elliot.
The evening's performances included Brad Blaze (speed painter),
Daniel Gassin (Yamaha pianist) and La Grandi Voci (opera singers
Gianni, Carmela and Marco). Phil de Fegely was auctioneer and there
is no doubt that his expertise lifted the amount of money
raised.
Feedback from attendees confirms the night was again a great
success, and shows that our Annual Dinner gets better every year.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our Marketing team,
who worked hard to ensure the night ran smoothly. Thanks also to
those staff members who attended and hosted our clients, ensuring
the evening was enjoyed by all.
