We are delighted to announce that Cornwall Stodart hosted an
exclusive Halloween Spook Party last night. The night was a huge
success and great fun was had by all!
Over 700 friends and families of clients and staff of Cornwall
Stodart attended this unique themed event, held at the Docklands.
It was great to see guests getting into the Halloween spirit and
attending in fancy dress. Costumes included the traditional wicked
witches, skeletons and walking dead, as well as a fly, rooster and
Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.
The weather was perfect and allowed for children - and the
young-at-heart - to enjoy the rides outside, which included a ghost
train, cha cha, cliff hanger, giant slide and dodgems. Sideshow
activities such as clowns, fishing and basketball shooting ensured
that everyone was a winner and took home a prize.
Inside, traditional Halloween activities included pumpkin
carving, lantern painting and apple bobbing. The trick or treat
village proved popular with the chocolate-loving tricksters, but
the Hollywood Horrors walk-through, not for the faint-hearted, had
some Halloweeners looking to the side exit for a quick escape!
On stage, we were entertained by magicians and illusionists,
sword swallowers and escape artists, and the evening's
entertainment was highlighted by the Globe of Death, an extreme
motorcycle stunt show.
David Brown and the Channel 7 weather team conducted a live
weather report from our Spook Party. Casper was surrounded by
goblins and ghouls seeking to spook the audience, while David
bravely announced the forecast for Melbourne's final week of the
Spring Racing Carnival.
Our firm secured the Premier Night of the Halloween
Spooktacular, which was closed to the public during our event. We
partnered with Showtime Attractions in hosting the celebration, an
exclusive and first-ever of its kind in Melbourne.
We are thrilled to have been able to offer this private event to
our clients and staff - an event enjoyed by everyone!
Please see the Cadbury Screme Egg Halloween Spooktacular
website for further information about the event.
