Rena Solomonidis, Election as Co-chair of LIV Committee

Cornwall Stodart would like to congratulate Rena Solomonidis, a Lawyer in our Commercial Litigation group, on her recent election as Co-chair of the Law Institute of Victoria's (LIV) Young Lawyers Section Editorial Committee (Committee).

The appointment was voted on 11 November 2011 at the LIV Young Lawyers Section Annual General Meeting, where both Rena and James Brown of Wollerman Shacklock Lawyers were elected as Co-chairs.

The Committee works towards the publication of the Young Lawyers Journal (YLJ), a quarterly publication that is circulated to more than 5,000 young lawyers in Victoria. The YLJ addresses issues that are relevant and of interest to lawyers who have recently joined the profession.

Rena has been an active member of the Committee for two years. She has written articles for the YLJ and she also contributes to industry publications relevant to our clients on a regular basis.

Rena is looking forward to co-chairing the Committee in 2012. Congratulations Rena! We can't wait to see what you bring to your new role.
