I joined Cornwall Stodart in 2008 as the IT Manager and was subsequently promoted to Director of Operations in 2009. I chose to work here for the opportunity to be a part of a growing firm that would provide me with challenges.

Opportunities are never far away when working at
Cornwall Stodart, and the firm's size provides an ideal mix of
varied work and a supportive, personal culture. Unlike smaller
firms, we are neither constrained by limited resources nor do
we suffer from the difficulties that often arise in larger firms,
including an impersonal culture and limited opportunities to 'make
your mark'. Cornwall Stodart also offers flexibility to its staff
and a variety of interesting project work. My group is always very
busy and we are given the opportunity to present 'out of the box'
solutions and encouraged to acquire new skill sets.
At Cornwall Stodart, balancing work and personal life is not
just a mandatory 'check box' item - we are encouraged to grow
in both our professional and personal lives. The firm also holds
various social committee events for staff to get to know each
other, including trivia nights, dinners and fitness
activities such as the firm-funded training sessions, yoga and
pilates. The annual Cornwall Stodart Carnival Day gives us the
chance to spend time with each other and our families, and confirms
how important relationships are to the firm.
I enjoy working at Cornwall Stodart and look forward to
continuing my professional and personal growth.
