I am lucky enough to enjoy going to work each day. I have a varied role which includes not only typical administrative duties, but also a lot of hands-on file work.

I have worked for other law firms and while I enjoyed my work there, I find the culture at Cornwalls sets it apart from other firms. There is no clock watching, you are trusted to do the right thing and invariably everyone does. We have an internal newsletter which, among other things, features daily quotes from the staff. When asked - "What is the best part of working at Cornwalls?" - the most common answer is the culture and the friendliness of staff.

Another thing I love about Cornwalls is that they keep you well informed. I like to hear we have made budget, particularly when my team has, because it fills me with a sense of pride in myself, my team and the firm as a whole.

I have forged some strong friendships while working here and almost feel guilty when I go home each night saying what a great day I have had… Well, not quite!
