I have worked in the legal industry for over 12 years and have been with Cornwall Stodart since 2005.
I work in the Banking & Finance team as a Senior Law Clerk and have watched the team grow from just three of us to 11 staff members.

I am responsible for running my own
files, from preparing security documents to settling matters and
attending to the registration of our lender's securities. As a team
we all work really well together and the mix of people helps to
create a fun environment. The work is varied and there are
opportunities to take on other roles and responsibilities if you
wish.
Cornwall Stodart is one of the most
flexible and easygoing places I have worked in. Since the beginning
of my employment, I have taken maternity leave twice and have
returned to work both times as a part time employee. The firm has
been nothing but supportive of my decision to do this, which has
made the transition back to work that much easier. In fact, I was
promoted to Senior Law Clerk after having come back from maternity
leave and starting part time employment - I think this speaks
volumes of the firm.
