Starting her legal career at Media Arts Lawyers, Chloe was able to combine both her passions for the law and entertainment, working with some of Australia’s most high-profile talent and international companies in the EMT industries.
With specialist knowledge in brand protection and trademarks, Chloe has acted for clients in all areas of the EMT industries, including – fashion brands, music artists, actors, film production companies, event promoters, including major music festivals, gaming and app companies, specifically in start-ups, restaurateurs, authors and record labels.
As one of the initial team members of EMT Partners, Chloe has been able to further develop her skills and expertise in the EMT sector working on legal matters, alongside their exemplary advisory team, to ensure the best outcome is achieved for all clients.
Experience
Chloe’s recent experience includes:
- advising individuals and companies on their global brand protection strategy, including overcoming multi-jurisdictional trade mark refusals, oppositions and disputes;
- advising individuals and companies in relation to music rights, including publishing, recording, licensing and usage;
- advising companies and individuals on a variety of reputational management issues, including media and communications management, defamation and privacy through to litigation;
- advising multiple individuals and companies in the EMT sectors in relation to Australian/US immigration matters;
- providing legal and commercial advice to technology start-ups in relation to structure, corporate affairs and capital raising; and
- providing legal and commercial advice in relation to numerous film and television projects, book publication projects and live music and events ventures.
